Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX580 elpida ethereum Bios (4GB model)

Anyone knows a good bios for Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX580 (elpida) for Ethereum mining.
The current bios i have mines beatween 30.200 to 32.100 Mh/s

But seems that is not so stable.
I know those cards can create 31mh/s +

Anyone knows or has good bios for that card?

Need 10 watts per each MHs produced

Do you agree (check on your riggers setup) that, for each MHs your riggers is producing, you need power in the range 8 to 10 watts ?

Examples:

6x AMD RX580 = 180 MHs will require 1500 to 1800w PSU
6x Nvidia1060 = 140 MHs will require 1100 to 1400w PSU

(Considering 80% as limit to protect long life your PSU)

Do you guys want an ethOS Custom Web Stats Panel?

Yo,
I am planning to setup a custom web statistics panel for ethos since gpushack is asking for a lot of amount.
I can make anywhere from a simple raw html panel to a well designed CSS panel with email notifications and stuff.
I want to keep the panel simple and short, not displaying unnecessary data like on the ethOS Panel, if needed all those information can be showed in a more detailed page about the rig.

I'll be needing more than a few Yeses to the poll to get motivated enough to start the project.
Please provide your responses and feedbacks to help me make this project successful.
Thank You

Reported hashrate?! Not adding to effective hashrate

Hi, when I mine with my Nvidia cards everything works fine. Their current effective hashrate are reflected in the average hasrate. But I added an AMD card and it just tells me it's reported hahsrate but it doesn't seem to add to my real effective hashrate. I've tried at least a couple miners and get the same result.

So is this some setting or flag I'm missing in my configuration or what's the deal?

RX 580: Get LOTS of incorrect shares but no memory errors

I have a problem with the 5th rig i build.

It is running 6x Gigabyte RX580 8 GB cards, they have one-step-modded bioses, i tuned each card individually with OverdriveNTool and have Hwinfo64 running and showing no (or VERY little) memory errors. It's running Claymore (10.3 at first, 11.0 now) and except for the GPUs it's an identical setup as the first 4 rigs (the first rigs have XFX cards).

Eventhough i get no memory errors, 3 gpus keep getting a mayor amount of invalid shares. It are the same gpus all the time (gpu0, 3 and 5). I changed risers and the problem remains. It seems like the longer the rig runs, the more invalid shares it gets.

How can it be that i keep on receiving invalid shares while the gpus have no memory errors? What am i missing?

PSU for Asrock H110 Pro BTC+

Hi. I'm using 2 HP DPS-1200FB Server PSU for my mining rig, 13 GPU RX580. Pretty much, I'm maxing out the PSUs. They are working at 1100 W (7 GPUs + Pico DC ATX) and the 2nd PSU with 6 GPUs at 930 W. They are noisy as hell, as I can see they are maxing their limit. I use breakout boards to connect the GPUs to PSUs.

I'd like to replace them, to platinum 1200 W that are whisper quiet, or not as irritating, no screeching. My question is, which PSU actually provide so much PCIE (6 pin) connectors that's enough to connect 7 cards with risers, to the PSU? The other PSU will have 6 cards with risers connected to the PSU.

How do people work this out?

Another question is, I have power cable for the PSU connected to the wattmeter, before plugging to wall. I can feel that the wattmeter is about to give, as the prongs are loose already. I assume due to high heat, the contact is loose. I wonder how I can address this problem as I prefer to have power cable plugged to wattmeter before the wall. This way, I can see how much power draw from wall I'm using. I'm using a pretty thick power cord as it is. And yet, I believe the ends (prongs in the power cord) may heat up in prolonged operation, hence affecting the wattmeter, and it's prongs connected to the wall.

i'm having some problems with my Mining rig. my computer can only find 4 out of the 7 cards i have plugged in.
i've serched google a bit but the most given answer is to enable 4G encoding in the bios, which i have done, unfortunately it did nothing.

i've tested all risers, the power and the GPUS, they are all working...

Crypto Gui Miner - Official Thread And Support

This is the official thread for support and development of CryptoGuiMiner! Please any suggest, criticize and praise.

I see that there are a lot of questions and different answers on forums on the subject of mining cryptocurrencies. So now… which cryptocurrency should you be mining and how? For beginners and people with no knowledge of cryptocurrencies, the biggest issue are the very basics like adjusting the settings which can be complicated and hard to figure out. If you want to start mining, it must be way more complicated than just a few clicks! Or is it? So you don’t have to bother, lose time or God forbid adjust something wrongly, there is an interesting piece of software that helps you and does everything automatically for you. I’m writing this because I myself am using this software and can confirm that it is definitely the best solution for everyone who is new in the world of cryptocurrency mining.

The program is called Crypto Gui Miner and it you can download it from https://cryptoguiminer.com/

The main thing which makes this program so special and what sets it apart from the others is the simplicity and automatic set-up function. There is even a calculator on their website that will calculate which cryptocurrency is the most profitable to mine, depending on the graphics cards that you use.

When you run the program, it will automatically recognize the graphics cards that you are using and adjust the settings so that it mines the cryptocurrency that is the most profitable. You also have a nice and clear display of temperature and other useful data such as hashrates, estimated monthly earnings in US dollars or Bitcoin, monitoring for tracking results via mobile phone, etc.
All you have to do is insert your wallet address so you can dafely save the currency you are mining directly into your wallet (and it is saved automatically). The best place for creating your wallet is the official website of the cryptocurrency that you wish to start mining. Of course, you always have control over what and when you will be mining.

You can also enter more than one wallet into the program, so the program will mine the currency that is the most profitable at that time. However, if you only wish to mine one cryptocurrency, then just click on the button “Force” and the chosen cryptocurrency will be mined regardless of the others.

In short, don’t focus on mining Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum or other currencies that are difficult to mine and you need hardware of 100+ thousands of EUR. Focus on currencies that can quickly be mined and monetized, converted into cash or for buying other cryptocurrrencies or if you plan to invest them in the long run. Just download the program, choose one or more currencies for mining, insert your wallet and that is it. No complicated settings, losing time, uncertainties etc.

2 GPUs fried..

So rig shuts down spontaneously, I go back and flip power switch and sparks and smoke are seen from one Nitro+ 570. I disconnect card completely, flip power switch again and the GPU next to it, a 580 Gaming X has sparks and smoke.

I replace PSU and now system flashes lights briefly and shuts down immediately. Will not go beyond this point.

What. The. ****. Happened.

Corsair RM1000, Gigabyte GA-H110-D3A, Celeron, Kingston ValueRAM.

Did the PSU fry my cards? Did it fry the mainboard too? This is NOT looking good for my ROI.

All cards bios modded and OC'd to 2000hmz, no undervolting, etc. Was mining on ethermine with ethminer. Win10.

Windows 10 failing updates?

I swear I had Windows update turned off, but that bugger keeps somehow coming back to life. I gave in and tried to do the update on my miners.
Every. Single. One. Of. Them. Failed.

Over and over. It downloads, installs, restarts, fails, reverts.
Most of my miners are on the standard MSI Gaming M5 motherboard with 7X GPUs each. 8GB of ram and a cheap 160GB HDD that I got on eBay for $5 each. Admittedly the hard drive might be the problem, but only ~80 or so GB is being used.

I have now gone and just did a reinstall on every single one manually. But I'm afraid Windows will just pull that shit again.
Maybe it's time to go to Linux. Can Linux do undervolting now? I remember when I set my miners up, they couldn't. But it's been almost a year now.

here you all go

a 29MH version of the red devil 8GB 480 rom

looks like its 20w less while dual mining so not as much as I would expect

mem went down to 910 on my test card. you might get more like the ref 480 got down to 890

flash at your own risk.

I was dual mining @ 29MH/320MH SC
