PCIe riser question

Hey, well I bought this motherboard: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00K7807MQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and I was wondering if I could plug in a riser on the PCIE1 slot (the one that has a similar size to a full-size PCIE express slot but doesn't have a latch), not the PCIe Express 1 slot. I've been searching but could find an answer.
