I've built several computers before ranging from $400 builds to $3000 watercooled builds but haven't dabbled in mining much as my systems have been mainly for gaming and or workstation environments. I'm considering the below build to start mining ETH and would like some appraisals:
(My power is US $0.15/ kWh)
Intel Pentium G4400
AsRock H170M Pro4
Gigabyte RX580 (2 Xfire)
WD Green 120GB m.2
Silverstone Strider Essential 550W
Corsair 8GB DDR4 LPX
Total system works out to $770 USD all in. I am led to believe this means I could make back the cost of the hardware in only 2.5months.
Does everything seem correct so far? Any advice before I pull the trigger?
