Can I turn my current PC into a mining rig?

I have a desktop PC which isn't getting much use lately so I've been thinking of making it into a mining rig.
The CPU is an i5 4440S and the GPU is a Gainward GTX 960, I've been using it as an editing machine.

Or am I better off selling it and getting something better?
Keep in mind that power costs are not an issue, meaning they can be neglected.
