Hello guys, I tried to bios mod my Asus STRIX RX 570 4GB GPU so I copied and pasted the 2:1500 string to the ones above (until 2:2000) but this didn't change its Mh/s (stuck at 22 Mh/s). So, could anybody hook me up with a good RX 570 Bios mod? Thanks

This is just a quick guide for how to flash you RX470/RX480 cards. I hope it helps. Download these. https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2728/atiflash-2-74 https://github.com/caa82437/PolarisBiosEditor https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ If you want a custom rom (Higher hash, lower power), you can contact Heliox For example: RX 480 8G Samsung: 32+Mh ETH, RX 470 4G Hynix: 31+Mh ETH Use GPU-Z to see what kind of memory your card has 1, open atiflash, MUST RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR 2, click on save to save the original bios, save it as RX470ogBIOS.ROM or RX480ogBIOS.ROM (for convenience) 3, open polaris bios editor 4, click open at the top left and open the OG bios you just saved 5, edit the timings according to your cards memory 6, click save, save it as RX470modBIOS.ROM or RX480modBIOS.ROM 7, open atiflash again, MUST RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR 8, at the top select the card you want to flash 9, click load image at the bottom left 10, search for the modded bios you just saved and open it 11, click program 12...wait a minute to finish, when its done it'll say to restart...if you're done click yes, if you have more cards to flash click no and repeat steps 8-12 until you're done. Also, when selecting cards to flash, it will only show 3 cards, so if you want to flash more than 3 cards, only have 3 cards connected to the motherboard at a time, flash the cards, restart, make sure it worked, shutdown, switch cards and repeat. And then make sure you have the right driver installed. This is what works for me. I hope it works for you too.

Mac software for mining with a Radeon Vega Frontier?

Hi, totally new to all this. I'm a video editor and I just popped a Radeon Vega Frontier edition into my 2010 Mac Pro (12x 3.33 Mhz, 64 GB RAM, 34 TB storage). I figured I should try mining in the 14 hrs/day I'm not using the rig since this thing is such a beast. Problem is, seems like the Vega architecture is not yet supported by any of the Mac software I can find. I can use command-line, but prefer GUI. My typing is atrocious. Any thoughts on all this? Thanks for reading

Voltage & power consumption struggle RX 580 (Sapphire Nitro+, XFX)

Hello guys, First of all, I want to make a humble statement and say that I DID in fact use the search bar and read through many topics, I've been using this forum as a source of information for some time. But today I need to ask you directly and therefore beg for help. Situation: XX rx 580 cards, did flashing, bios edited though either SRBpolaris or PBE, including timings, hash rates are OK (around 30mH/s with 1112/2050), however due to the size or our mining operation we need to cut power consumption - at the moment each card pulls around 100W out of wall (shows around 88W in GPU-Z) , and changing any voltage settings in these editors proved to be useless - i doesnt work both with specific values or those 68253 and similiar "pointers" I tried controlling voltage through claymore miner, failed, I tried OhGodsatool, failed, I tried HEX editiing the whole bios, failed, I test the cards on Windows, then use phoenix miner/ claymore miner on Ubuntu. Is there any way to lower the voltage and power consumption? Wattman, Afterburner and Trixx work with Vega 56 but no 580, and I need it done on Linux more than on Windows. Thanks for ANY help in advance

Mining rig help!!

So I built a multi gpu mining rig using older gaming cards bought used. I have 2 r9 290xs, a r9 290 and an r9 390. Running on an msi z170a with an i5 6500t , 8gb ram, with a 750 and 1200w psu. Had slight stability issue but had it running nice. Rebooting ever other day for the last week. So one morning I wake up and see that windows had frozen. Did a reboot and my 290 had an opencl error couldn’t write dag for buffer. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, switching risers, virtual memory is fine. Even by itself when the card tries to mine I get that error or the system crashes and I check event log and it says there was a bug check and memory dump but I have no idea how to check the memory dump. The card shows up in device manager, afterburner, gpu-z and claymore. It is running and fine until under load. Shouldn’t be a psu issue as it was running fine for weeks. Have tried lidag gser and eres commands with no luck. Best I got was after freshly installing it was mining for maybe one minute with all four cards before crashing and getting same error or crash. Getting another 290x and brand new 1080ti tomorrow to add so will do more tests. Any ideas? I know there’s a good chance the card is bad but it’s running fine until under load? System runs fine with all four cards in but only the other 3 mining. Stable for 12+ hrs I have the registry tweaks and a few other windows ten tips but any advice on stability is welcome too.

myMiner

One Click. Your Coins. Just works without effort, but you can still take a look on how things are going.

Download Version 2.13
In the late summer of 2017, a friend of mine ask me how to get started with mining with his AMD 390. While I would have been able to get this done in less then 10 minutes, doing it remote via text messages turned out to be an annoying process. We talked about miners, pools, the windows command line and how to bring them all together for quite same time. Explaining multiple new concepts at the same time really does not work out to well most of the times.... I really wished there was an application which I could just throw at him, like: Look, here is an application which will get you started into mining, you don’t need to do or know anything at all, just start it! Soo, here we are, more than one year later and proudly present to the public myMiner, which is just that: a one-click miner. There is no need to create an account or to configure anything, just start it and you are in business. You can take a look how mining works and if you want to invest further time in it, without doing anything upfront! We take a little cut for us (the developers), but apart from that, myMiner is free-of-charge, no ads, no data collection, no telemetry and no premium features. myMiner mines using your wallet (either generated by myMiner or provided by you) directly. What are your thoughts?

Features

  • Direct poolmining We are not a man in the middle, there is no loss of money due to non-transparent exchange processes. If you want to exchange your Coins, you should do it on your own and get better exchange rates.
  • Verifiable progress All numbers and values are checkable with third parties. You can verify your pool balance on the website of your pool, so myMiner cannot show any fake data and mine secretly in favor of someone else.
  • No login or registration For real mining you never need any account. You only need a Wallet-Address, which is generated by myMiner. If you already have a Wallet-Address, you can use it, of course.
  • GUI with wallet- and poolbalance There are even more information regarding your mining devices in expert mode.
  • Up-to-date exchange rates To find the most profitable Coin, myMiner looks up exchange rates regularly.
  • Devfee 2% We want to develop and improve the software more and more. There is a fee of 2%.
While this release is fully functional, it is still an alpha release. Therefore let me introduce you to what is currently implemented, what is work in progress and what features are up next: Future: - Pool, Coin and Miner choosing - More Currencies/Pools and miners - Supported GPUs: AMD HD7000 series [GCN1] and newer, NVIDIA GTX600 series [Kepler] and newer* * (NVIDIA RTX 2000 series tbd.)

FAQ

  • Which Currencies are supported? At the moment you can mine Ethereum(ETH) and Monero(XMR).
  • Which mining software is included? Ethminer (https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer) and XMR-Stak (https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak)
  • Which Pools can I use? ethermine.org; Hashvault
  • Can I use my own Wallet-Address? Yes
  • Why is myMiner trustful? To verify, that myMiner displays correct performance values, you can visit the website of your pool and check your progress. This makes the use of myMiner comfortable, because you need not to worry about fake data. Also, you will get your payouts directly from the pool, so we never get in touch with your earnings. In addition, this is not a self-moderated topic and you can see our contact details on our website: www.myminer.org We also do not promise any fabulous hashrates, you will use the mining software everyone else does. myMiner is just a tool to make it as simple as possible. Use the software on your own and give it to peoples, who are new to Cryptocurrencies and want to start mining. We are interested in your feedback and feature-requests 🙂 - Website - Twitter

BitcoinZero

#1 Anonymity and Privacy Blockchain - BitcoinZERO - What is BZX? BitcoinZERO is the FIRST EVER TRIPLE fork between BTC, LTC and HXX, combining all the good attributes of the three major cryptocurrencies, aiming to reduce or nullify the existing privacy issues that Bitcoin usage now has; using Dark Gravity Wave for safer and faster mining, ZeroCoin Protocol patched and enabled - NO exploits. Decentralized All BZX nodes have equal power and control; there are no nodes that have more influence than others Fast Transactions BitcoinZero transactions are fast (2.5 minute block time) Privacy oriented BZX reduces the existing privacy issues privacy coins usage has through zero defect/ZeroCoin implementation Proof Of Work BZX will be a hybrid Proof of Work. Anti-DoS attacks defense and low impact of stake on mining possibilities. First ever Triple Fork! BZX is a "FIRST EVER TRIPLE fork" between BTC, LTC and HXX, combining all their good attributes Synergy BZX functions at a new level because of the support and collaboration team shares with other stakeholders including community Asic Resistant BZX can only be mined using consumer grade hardware’s like CPU and GPUs Ultra Secured BZX tends to eliminate issues with multipools retargeting difficulty every single block - Parterships & Vendors - The BitcoinZero team understands that real world use case is what really counts. Although getting listed on exchanges and spreading the word about the project will help the project increase it's market value, securing real world partnerships and vendors that will accept BitcoinZero is where the true value of BZX is derived. - Fair Distribution of BZX - Bitcoin holders aren't holding Bitcoin to get BZX and are more inclined to dump BZX viewing it as "Free Money". Therefore the BitcoinZero team has decided to adjust the forking ratios so that for each Hexx someone holds they get 10 BitcoinZero. Using this new ratio roughly 50% of BitcoinZero will be controlled by Hexx holders and 50% by Bitcoin holders. This makes the distribution more fair for BitcoinZero early adopters and advocates. - Fast Transactions - BitcoinZero continues to make use of the 2.5 minute block time making transactions faster than Bitcoin - Block Rewards - BitcoinZero will continue to be a hybrid Proof of Work (PoW) and Masternode (BZnode) coin, however the mining algorithm will allow for GPU mining instead of CPU mining. This will open up BitcoinZero to GPU mining rigs and operations further promoting decentralization. Additionally, it has been determined that increasing the block reward to a total of 10 BZX/Block will allow the network to reach a max supply of 42 Million coins within the next four years. This means BZX will award 4 BZX for Node Holders, 4 BZX for GPU miners, and 2 BZX for the governance fund each block Frequently asked questions: How do I get my BitcoinZERO? You will receive 10BZX for every 1HXX you hold and 1 BZX for every BTC. Use your private keys above. What Exchanges support BZX? Currently LiveCoin.net, Blocknet.io and the HexxChange confirmed fork support. We are approaching more exchanges and will announce listing as we are allowed by exchanges. What about Masternodes? A privacy based Bitcoin with MasterNodes (BZnodes). BZnodes will require 10,000 BZX. This means current Hexx holders will receive enough coins for their current xNodes to run a BZnode for BitcoinZero. Official Site: http://cyber-trade.info/ Wallet Download(Windows, OsX, Linux): http://cyber-trade.info/ Bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089565.new#new

Win 10 Pro rig with 3 GPUs freezing - help!?

$

Hi everyone, I have the following rig setup: Windows 10 Pro - newly installed, fully patched Control panel performance set to high, never turn off etc Paging set to 18-20 GB 4GB RAM installed - but tested in 8 GB RAM rig and had same issues Celeron CPU 3 x MSI Radeon RX 580 GPUs installed. I have tried 2 installed directly onto the motherboard plus 1 riser as well as 1 on motherboard and 2 on riser. It made no difference. Issue is that if I use AMD's blockchain driver the rig will freeze after running for more than 10 minutes. It doesn't crash it just freezes until I do a hard shut down. If I install either the latest AMD drivers for the GPUs or an earlier version, the rig stays stable but my hashrates drop for 28.x MH/s to 11-13 MH/s I also tried 3 different BIOS mods with the same effect. What is a bit odd is that this rig is about 8 months old - maybe a bit more. It was running fine with all 3 cards then I thought one card was causing an issue so I moved that one card to another machine - it, and this original rig continued to operate fine - till a couple weeks ago. Any suggestions?

Mining rig hashrate slowly dropping

Hello folks, I've got a 5 GPU mining rig running built with EVGA GTX 1070 SC's. The miner has been running flawlessly for a good year now. The OS is windows 7 and the mining software is the latest phoenix miner. Power supply is an EVGA 1000 watt supernova G2. I've had this system moderately overclocked since I put it together. My most stable and efficient settings are running about .700 mv, core clocked at +100 over default, and memory clocked at +383 over default. Using nvidia inspector for the clock settings. P2 state is forced to off. Temps have never been over 55C on the cores. APC UPS backed up, so it has never seen a dropout or a hit to the power supply. I would say this is a well taken care of mining rig. So the problem is this rig ran stable at 31.x MH/sec per card since I put it together. But in the last few months, the hashrates have been slowly creeping down to a point where all five cards are now running in the 28 to 29 MH/sec range. And I've had to work my voltage up to .840 mv just to maintain that. It seems like every time this machine gets a reboot, which is maybe once or twice per month, I have to creep up my voltage slightly just to maintain the hashrate I had before the reboot. As I mentioned, all five GPU's are dropping evenly. And I also have two other computers which also mine 24/7. They also have 2 EVGA GTX 1070 SC's each of roughly the same age, usage, and temps. Same OS, mining software, and the power supplies are both EVGA 650 watt supernova G2's. These rigs are not experiencing this drop in hashrate. For over a year, they're still running right where I initially set them. What might be causing this even drop in hashrate? I don't think it's the GPU's themselves because of the even decline. I suspect either the power supply or possibly the riser cards used to mount 5 GPU's. From what I have said, what do you guys think? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

Why use second hand bitmain s9 s9i 13.5t 14t 14.5t to mining btc

This is the daily income of the bit Continental ant s914T 14.5T on March 27, 2019 (under the condition of 0 electricity bill when accounting) Now the electricity cost of domestic mines is generally around 0.3 yuan, and the calculated income is According to this income calculation, the return period of the new machine is about one year. However, with the fluctuation of bitcoin price and the uncertainty of the whole network computing power, the one-year return period is undoubtedly very risky. Using a second-hand Bitcoin mining machine to dig bitcoin will reduce the return cycle to 4-6 months, greatly reducing uncertainty. However, there are too many tricks in the sale of second-hand mining machines, which are generally straight for mines and are available for 24 hours. Second-hand mining machine trading is generally a mining machine, and it has been used for more than half a year, its own power board, power aging phenomenon is serious, the machine does not clean for a long time, covered with dust. After the second-hand mining machine with direct hair from the mine, the damage rate even exceeded 40% in one month. In order to solve the pain points in this industry, we have the second-hand mining machine cleaning and testing, and then deliver the required mine owners. The calculation board power supply repairs the replacement. There is a big difference between cleaning detected and not cleaning: After the test is cleaned, repack it Now in the bitcoin winter, I hope everyone will warm up. Looking forward to the next bull market.
