A little explanation on Ethermine Payouts

Hey guys (first post here),

I'm very new to mining, seeking some advice from the Pros. I am a fairly technical person, should be able to grasp quickly. But I'm juggling between too many terms and have some confusion going on.

I've been mining on Ethermine.org pool using claymore.
I created an account using geth (Safe to call this a "wallet"? I'll call it "account" for now).
I setup a few workers mining to this same "account" with about 128MH/s.
I've set the payout limit to 1 ETH on Ethermine.org pool.
I've been getting all the payouts pretty accurately.

After reading around, it seems like I should not use the "account" to trade. Instead, send it to another "wallet" first (I see "Mist" as a good option?), then use that "wallet" to send it to exchange for trading. Correct me if I'm wrong here too.

So far so good. But there is a little confusion here.

To avoid confusion and make explaining easier, we shall assume:
  • "Account" Address : 0xACCOUNT
  • "Wallet" Address on Mist : 0xWALLET
  • "Payout Tx" Address on Ethermine.org : 0xTX
I'm trying to send my ETH from "account" payout to "wallet"
  1. Can I do this using claymore? I can't seem to find the option to do this.
  2. I installed Mist on my computer, added a new "wallet" and it started synchronizing about 2million blocks. Is this correct?
  3. Is it safe to add my "Account" to Mist? The warning "You are sharing your identity with Ethereum Wallet" is doesn't sound convincing
  4. How do I send my "Payouts" to this new "wallet"? Can I do this using Mist considering I have not added my "Account" to it? Do I use the "0xACCOUNT"? or do I use the "0xTx"?
  5. Is it possible to use a non-mining machine for the purpose of trading and just let the mining machine do what they are setup to do (mine)?
