I'm currently trying to tweak the voltage of individual cards in my rig that is 5x 480s and 1x 290 and I noticed something peculiar and inconvenient about the way Claymore labels GPUs.
Since the rig has a single 290, its easy to see the issue. Claymore (7.1) labels the r9 290 as GPU3 when reporting hashrate, but labels it as GPU0 when reporting temp/fan! Now I cannot trust the rest of the labels in Claymore, which is an issue because one of the 480s is getting incorrect shares, but I have no idea how to tell which! Usually I would just set the fan to max to figure it out...
Has anyone else experienced this?
