Hey all, I have a question, especially for anyone with a 480 rig. I just hooked up two PSUs to my rig which has 5x 480s and 1x 290. I have a 750w PSU powering 3x 480s and the mobo/hdd, then a 650w powering the other 2 480s and the 290.
When I power on the rig, the cpu/psu fans spin for a second, then the 750w psu makes a *click* noise and shuts down. It will not power on again until I flip the i/o switch.
It seems pretty clear to me that the PSU is overloaded at startup and immediately shuts down..but shouldn't a 750w gold rated psu be plenty? I've been having so many PSU woes with this new rig.....
