. I am new to mining and I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot seem to figure out no matter what I do. I bought an ASUS prime z270-ar motherboard for 6 gpus. I tested one out first, a GtX 1060. It was working well, so I decided to go ahead and buy another 5 of the same cards. When I got home I plugged 3 in, as I am still waiting for my risers. To my disappointment, the computer would only recognise two cards. I spent many hours modifying the bios, trying to change drivers etc to get it to work, until I finally managed to ruin everything so badly that no cards worked and I ended up having to reinstall ubuntu and everything else. Now, I'm finally back to two working cards. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I feel like I have already read every single article I can find and tried every setting I could in the bios to fix it. There is very limited information out there for this specific card. I don't really want to mess with it again unless I'm sure it will work. Does anyone know how I can get the motherboard to see all three cards? The system and the miner are only seeing two. Any help would be much appreciated.
