6x RX570 GPUs long term stable, but 6 GPUs will not recognized consistently after bios flash

Hello,

I'm having an issue flashing my RX570 GPUs and getting my system to recognize all 6 cards consistently. I have different mining systems setup right now using a mix of RX470 and RX570 GPUs, all rigs are running 6 GPUs, all stable with both flashed and not flashed bios. There doesn't seem to be an issue with these.

However I started building systems using only RX570 GPUs and I can't get the system to recognize all 6 cards after they're flashed. The system will recognize all 6 cards if they're using the original bios (and stable) and the system will recognize each individual card if they're flashed. However when I try to boot with all 6 GPUs installed, I either just get a black screen, or it will only post with sometimes 2 or 4 or 5 GPUs, never with 6.

All my setups are using G4400 CPU, MSI Z170a gaming M5, 8 GB 2133 ram, kingston 120GB SSD. The GPUs have been a mix of Sapphire, MSI, Gigabyte, Asus both RX470 and RX570. 4G encoding is enabled. GEN1. And Win10 support (system will not recognize 6 GPUs otherwise in any configuration). I'm using Polaris 1.4.1 for the RX 470 cards, and jaschaknack for the RX570 cards. I know some people are trying to get Z170 to recognize 7 GPUs, I have never been able to get this to work with any configuration of cards. I'm using 16.11.5/17.5.1 drivers (this seems to be the only stable configurations for me).

Again, I have no issue with RX470 or a mix of RX470/570 systems with both flashed and non flashed bios. This is only with RX570 flashed bios cards.

Has anyone else run into this?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
