What are the alternatives to RX 470/480?

Okay so I started mining a while ago on my R9 290s and its been going well.
However, I dont want to miss out on the rest of this boom and I really want to expand my mining capabilities at least to some extent. Dont we all, right?

So the thing is, and I believe that this goes for almost all parts of the world and not just Sweden where I live, there are no decent GPUs at all to be bought. I.e you cant really mine more than you already are with the hardware you have (At least within reasonable pricing for GPUs, I mean who the hell actually paid 900$ for that 480?).

So what is our strategy here guys? Do we wait for the next batch to arrive from AMD?
Is it better to go with 460s or 570/580 GPUs?

Now I've figured out that I personally have a very easy way to get a hold of hardware for a better price than most people (given that its actually in stock) and I do have access to about 1000kWh solar powered energy per day, so the investment is easily repaid.
But what I want to know is what my GPU-buying plan should be? Whats your personal plan?

Let the ideas flow and maybe we can share some different point of views and all get a bit wiser in all this Ether-madness :)
Have a great one people!
