Hello everyone !
As the title says I have some problems with my GPUs getting recognized by my mining rig I am building.
In the past I built some rigs using old computers, but they were 1-2 GPUs max. I decided to build a 6xGPU rig and bought these parts:
XFX R9 380x x6
Asrock H81 Pro Btc
Intel Celeron 1820
4GB DDR3 RAM
PSU 750W x2
USB 3.0 PCIe x1-x16 Powered Risers x6
I am using Ubuntu 14.04. and I have set everything up following this tutorial.
My GPU gets recognized only when I plug it in directly into x16 GPU slot, if I put any or all of the cards into PCIx1 slots, none will get recognized, and Ubuntu will default to the onboard graphics.
I ordered my powered risers here, and here.
Does anybody have any idea how should I debug this?
Regards,
Milken
