Hello Ethereum Mining Community! I have recently made the plunge into a rig and was going to buy a second but the 480 8gbs are no longer available for me to grab anytime quickly. They would take 10-30 business days to be shipped from manufacturer.
Current setup coming next week :
Z170a Pro Carbon Motherboard x7 GPU Support
9x 1x-16x Risers
5x GB Radeon RX 480 8gb
2x MSI Radeon RX 480 8gb
1200w PSU (Might need more but might be ok?)
The rest is pretty standard.
For Rig #2 I have yet to order due to GPU stock complication I have been leaning towards 570 4gb models. I have seen some of them start around 24MH/s and with proper Mods/OC you can get 28-30. I have access to a lot of MSI 570 4gb Cards and for much cheaper than my previous purchase. I do know they can eat up a bit more electricity though.
Input on which way I should go for Rig #2? My goal is to have Rig #1 setup and mining prior to Rig#2 arriving.
I have contact Heliox for help in setting up my first machine in regards to Bios Modding as I'm pretty new with that and I have offered a donation as well. That would apply to anyone here who is confident enough in them selves to help me setup my first rig via Skype I can/will pay for your help and time.
Much appreciated for the read, thank you!
