question about PSU power otput

Hi everyone,


I started looking into details on the PSU's and I have a question that I need to be answered

If there is a 1000W PUS rated at gold 80%eff at max load.

Does that mean that a psu max limit is drawing 1000W off the wall (measured with a kill a watt), or does have some 20% more to go (counting for the losses)?
