Updating drivers on Ethos

I'm trying to get a 6 GPU rig going with 4x Rx480 8gb Red Devils and 2x Rx480 8gb Sapphire Nitro+. 1300Watt EVGA Gold and Z170A MSI mobo.

I'm using a separate 6-pin power cable for each riser, two of the risers are connecting directly to the molex input on the riser, the other four are connected via SATA to molex to riser.

Currently having all kinds of problems getting them all running stock. Often, many of the cards show 0 hash and low temps. I can't get it to recognize one of the cards ever, and when I get the other 5 running, usually there are some that show 0mh or below 20mh and occasionally they will all show like 8-10 mh. I'm currently running the two Red Devils that are connected via the molex power cables and they seem to be running OK (~20-22mh each stock). I'm trying to figure out what the problem is:
-the powered risers (they all need to be connected via molex, or I need to mess with the SATA cables)
-the drivers (how do I tell which drivers are installed?)
-a motherboard setting I missed
-something else?

Lowest hanging fruit seems to be the drivers, but I don't know how to update the drivers over Ethos. Any help/input is greatly appreciated.
