I have a nice ubuntu image I created that I can copy to my ssd's and just boot and run. The only problem I'm having is successfully overclocking.
I have tried
echo -e "high" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level
echo 10 > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_mclk_od;
echo 3 > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_sclk_od;
and variations of that but still only getting 25 MH/s out of my 470s which can easily do 28 MH/s on windows. I don't want windows, I want the option to run 7 or 8 cards and with windows I cant even run 6 -yes I ran the patch and disable all the crap in the bios, it just locks up.
besides, my ubuntu boots up in 8 seconds :-)
