tldr: My Sapphire RX 470 4Gb Nitro OC + with Elpida ram and stock bios/settings goes to 0mhs after a bit of mining and crashes the computer when claymore tries to restart itself.

The problem:
  • 12:01 Card starts mining with stock bios and settings
  • 12:05 An error message appears: GPU #0 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!
  • 12:07 Current mining speed is GPU0 22.523 Mh/s
  • Screen goes black for 1 second and turns on again
  • 12:08 Now the card is gone and the speed is ETH: GPU0 0.000 Mh/s
  • 12:09 Claymore's miner detects the gpu is dead and tries to restart itself
  • 196c watchdog - thread 0, hb time 88297 196c WATCHDOG: GPU 0 hangs in OpenCL call, exit 196c watchdog - thread 1, hb time 89203 196c WATCHDOG: GPU 0 hangs in OpenCL call, exit 196c Restarting OK, exit...
  • 12:09 A new log file starts but windows freezes when it gets to: start building OpenCL program for GPU 0...
  • Hard restart and pc turns on again. Log1 Log 2
What I already did:
  • I tried mining with the silent bios and the gaming bios. Tried connecting the gpu to a riser instead of the x16 slot to check if the motherboard wasn't providing enough power thru the pci-e slot.
  • Running Windows 10 Pro (not the creators update), CoolerMaster GX 750w, 990FX asus motherboard, AMD FX-8120 , 8gb of ram. I've mined for several hours with my R9 Fury on this computer.
  • Drivers were uninstalled whith DDU and reinstalled the 16.9.1 and patched. Claymore's dual miner in eth only mode v9.0 was used, same issues with v8.1. Tested with dualmode and it crashed too.
  • I tried increasing/decreasing voltage, core, ram, etc.... I left everything in stock too.
  • I have successfully bios modded five 470s from other brands on this computer, left them running for several hours to test the stability and none had this particular problem.
  • I've seen the screen flash while using the computer without mining. The card is refurbished from amazon.
How would you fix it?

There's the possibility that the card is bad, is there a good software to test the ram/core for errors?

Please tell me if you've had the same problem or if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks!
