I am new to all of this but finally got my rig running, just very slowly.
Biostar TB85
6x RX480 8GB Sapphire Nitro cards (not the + version)
EVGA 1300W Gold
Hyperx Fury 4gB stick of ram
6 powered risers version 006
I had a near scare just now when three of my cards I tried to flash died, but I was able to recover them because I had backup .rom files and I could boot into Windows with a good non flashed card and recover them.
The issue is that I don't see any clear instructions for how to flash/overclock these specific cards and what is more confusing is that I have a few different types of "flash" according to atiflash (see the picture).
A youtube video on overclocking seemed to show settings in atiflash that resemble what i see for my card, namely the timing section which in the video was showing whole round numbers and as you can see in my picture, I have much different looking numbers in the timing section. Many guides look dissimilar from mine.
I have messed with trixx and afterburner with lackluster results, maybe 27/28 before usually crashing. I am really shooting for a stable 30mh/s, which I know can be done. I have been searching all day but it seems like every post and video is referring to the nitro + card, or otherwise isn't applicable to my situation. What is the best way to overclock these cards to get to 30?
