Good day,
should one overclock the core or memory clock for mining? This discussion said the memory clock is the more important one, https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/4302/how-to-find-the-optimal-gpu-clock-speed-for-mining/p1. However, when I overclock the memory clock with 300MHz, the hash rate only changes with about +0.5MH/s and when I overclock the core with 100MHz I get about +1.5MH/s more.
I even cranked up the core clock by 170MHz and now I'm up to 20MH/s. The overclocking settings probably differ from GPU to GPU. Would it be wise to underclock the memory clock and overclock the core clock more, in my situation?
P.S. I have a Inno3D iChiLL GeForce GTX 780 HerculeZ X3 Ultra.
