New to mining starting small

ive been buying crypto since 2013 and never had the motivation to mine myself treated it like stocks and savings, but i feel really good about ETH so i wanna mine.

Right now i have an extra z97-a usb3.1 with 8gb RAM and a couple storage options and plan to get a i5 as cheap as possible.

i just bought a xfx RX 480 8gb for a reasonable price and plan to get another. my question here is if i plan to only run 2 cards what is the lowest PSU rating i can get away with? 500W seems like the right answer to me but amazon has a evga 450W for $21 right now. anyone think this is a risk? yes i plan on upgrading if this is a success but i wanna start small at first

with power consumption in mind my work is a small machine shop with 6.0 Mbps DSL internet and no one would notice even a 1000w rig running masked my the welders and computers no one ever turns off, but will they notice it on the internet usage/ history? in the past they only made a comment when my computer visited one site 30,000 times in one month (left news site minimized all day) and the only reason they checked the usage was our company old guy had no discretion as to what sites he visited and got a few viruses. is a VPN a good option to hide this? hiding this wouldnt matter because my on site boss would love the idea of it and really everyone at some point has used our shop to do something they really shouldn't. i just don't want our corporate owners to see.

side note related to build: i think ill run ethOS even tho i have a windows 7 HDD the $30 seems worth the ease

in conclusion, running QTY 2 - xfx RX 480 8gb on a z97-a with 8gb RAM what kind of power should i run? and will my off site owner notice my internet usage?

as a new user if there is a thread specifically for my questions let me know ill move it. i dont want to spam.

Thanks!
