It's been a busy few weeks, but we have just released the latest version of Pro Miner - v1.36
Pro Miner now runs Parity as well as Geth and will switch when one falls behind as per Vitalik's request: <https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum>
You can now also pin Geth and/or Parity to a subset of CPU cores to make sure the current attack doesn't overwhelm your processor and stop your mining.
Our miners run 4-core i5's and we have found that setting Geth's Processor Affinity to Cores 0 and 1, and Parity's to Core 2 ( leaving Core 3 free for the miner ) works well.
Pro Miner can now also take action when your miner gets stuck via "rules" options. If your miner fails to complete a work item for 5 minutes, you can choose to either: restart the miner; restart the Pro Miner service ( which also restarts the child Geth and Parity processes ); or even restart the whole miner computer. You can choose a different option if your miner gets stuck 3 times in 20 minutes.
As miners ourselves, our main aim with Pro Miner is to maximize productive mining time.
The documentation on our website is a little out of date, but we are working to update this over the next couple of days. The instructions for installing and upgrading are still correct. Pro Miner just has more configuration options now!

Pro Miner supports both Solo and Pool mining with an integral Stratum client. The Miner is about 5% more effective than the stock miner.
• Miner runs as a Service
The Miner runs as a Windows Service, so you don't have to log into Windows - the Miner starts when Windows starts.
• Pro Miner Control Panel
The Control Panel is a separate Application which can be run on a different computer and can connect to many Miners.
It has a simple Graphical User Interface that allows you to Monitor and Control your Miners.
• Crash Recovery
If Geth or Parity ( if you're running them ) or the Miner crash, they will be restarted automatically. This ensures maximum uptime for your Miners.
Please note:
• Pro Miner shows Average Hashrates as well as the Peak Hashrates shown by other miners.
• Using the Average Hashrates allows Pro Miner to accurately estimate your expected number of solutions / shares.
