i recently purchase another couple of rx 470 4gb from msi the gaming x edition (yes the red with black) comes with hynix so i dump the bios, mod the straps as usual with this model 1500 strap write the bios all good , fire the claymore shows me 24 mhs , in default clocks , no matter what software i use for overclock no changes in the mhs , i put the thing at 1200/2000 clock and nothing not even the gpu power change for more draw, i try in 3 differents rigs same result, try 16.6 / 16.9.x even the 17 relive (lastest) nothing, try linux, try trixx, wattool, nothing, i try all the straps from the memory and nothing, is just fixed mhs, if i leave it stock is the same result , so i compare a bios from another rx 470 gaming that i have i notice that the new one come with another bios seems new, anyone else with a similar problem here ? i even try connect the damn thing directly to the motherboard and same is like the straps never change from default bios. ![:sweat:]( ":sweat:")
