assuming 30MH, 110W power consumption and 0.1$ kW/H
we get profit per month: 27.2$ per card
ROI: 250 / 27.2 = 9.2 months
This is in super-ideal circumstances which are not real.
This does not account for:
- cost of other components, namely the PSU
- potential downtime
- network difficulty increase
- any hardware defects leading to the need of replacement
With all that the more realistic ROI will increase to over a year.
So a year just to get your money back, this does not seem reasonable in any way.
