Hello,
so I managed to build my first dedicated mining rig. Been running 6GPUs with no problems for two weeks. Recently I received my 7th GPU and with some bios fiddling managed it to work. And at first I thought that everything is OK and how lucky I am to make it work with so little effort. But after an hour that 7th GPU stoped mining with error "WATCHDOG: GPU 3 hangs in OpenCL call, exit". So I tried to lower memory clocks and raised voltage. Same error, but after 1,5h. So again I lowered clocks and raised voltage and reinstalled drivers (used DDU). This time it lasted for about 8h. Maybe someone has an idea how could I make this rig more stable.
The weird thing is that all the times when I was trying to find best clocks and voltages for other cards and overclocked them too much, my whole system would just hang or HWiNFO would start to show memory errors in millions. With this card this didn't happen. I thought that this will be the best GPU from my batch 'cos it shows 0 errors with highest OC.
My specs:
OS: Windows 10 pro
Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer
CPU: Intel Pentium G3450
7xUSB risers
GPUs: 7xSapphire RX480 Nitro+ 8GB (4 OC models)
PSU: Cooler Master V1200 platinum
SSD: Patriot Blaze 60GB
RAM: 2x4GB 1600Mhz
Drivers: Crimson 16.11.3
