First PCI-e on asrock h81 not woking

I am trying to run 5 x480 nitro+ on an asrock h81 pro btc MOBO and whatever I do, I cannot get the card connected to the first PCIe x1 slot to work.

I have tried all sorts of combinations to ensure the GPU and riser work.

Any tips?

Oh, cleared CMOS but no luck
