Hello everyone, i am new to this forum and also to ethereum mining, so far i have 2 rigs with 6 x R9 390 cards each, i am planning to buy 2 more rigs for a total of 4, i am running Ubuntu 14.04 and mining with claymore's dual miner pointed to ethermine pool, each rig pulls about 175 M/h and i get about 1 ETH for rig per day, i wanted to try solo mining so instaled geth on one of the rigs, synced the blockchain, started the server and pointed Claymore miner to localhost:8545, it's been running for 20 hours so far with no mined blocks, i am not really sure of what i'm doing but claymore software is getting jobs (so i figure it's working) so i have 2 terminals, one running geth and the other running claymore, i was wondering if using eth-proxy and solo mining with my 2 rigs would be a good idea, my internet speed is not optimal, around 1Mbps, i read that running a node requires bandwidth... so just would like to hear some opinions of other miners, regards
