wattman + afterburner

I was wondering if it's possible to use both Wattman & afterburner in a rig that has 2x480s and 2x290s.
Reason is cos I'm not able to control the fans of the 290s and they are running very hot.
Not planning to tweek anything else but the fans of the 2x290s in afterburner.
