Hi!
I have a rig and a problem.
I have a H97 Anniversary motherboard and 1300 EVGA PSU. For a week, I have plugged two ASUS Rx 480 cards on it. With those risers:
When I use the risers, I only connect pci conections, not power supplies attached to the risers. Nothing bad happens. They worked ok for a week.
The problems comes now. I bought two Shappire RX 480 on eBay (used) to plug in my Motherboard. I unplugged ASUS cards and I tried Shappires ones. The problem is that after a time, pc reboots and Windows said there were a problem with AMD driver. Those Shappires cards are blinking my screen after reboot and Its imposible to work with them. It could be problem of not being plugged to the power supply attached to the riser? They need more power than ASUS ones? I'm still testing them to confirm if they are in a good shape or they are broken
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
