So I'm new to mining, and I was wondering if I need to have geth installed and a CMD with geth --rpc running to mine with Claymore like you do with Genoil?
Most of the guides for Claymore just say download, unzip, configure start.bat and go with it so I'm just wondering if they're assuming that you already have everything else installed and all that.
Also what is minergates gui miner? Is it anygood?
